My trip to Sikkim- An old one i had wrote

Where should I start from? It began on Saturday early morning (yes I woke up) at 4 AM. I would have loved to start saying a shivering cold in which I took a bath and almost froze to death. But unfortunately, it isn’t so, I woke up on a summer night in Mumbai (Guess-it was raining too) and got started. I reached the airport way before time, and was ready to start my trip, when suddenly the announcement came that the flight was delayed by an hour due to rain. I had to switch flights in kolkalta and wasn’t too nervous as I my flight from kolkata was at 12:20 PM. I boarded the flight at 6:40 AM after having a delight of early morning beauty (not sunrise but some beautiful chicks whom I have no words to describe- Man I am becoming desperate). Assuming the flight would take off on time, I doused off and woke up at 8AM to my surprise I heard the Pilot announcing that the flight is read to take off. Since there was nothing I could do I again slept.

I woke up again to the announcement that the flight is landing in Bhubaneshwar (yes I had not taken a direct flight- Very was low and convenient). It was 10:20 AM and I was a little anxious about the timing. The flight took off again at 10:45 landing at kolkata at 11:30AM. I rushed out and checked in to the other flight to Bagdogra at 11:50 (hehe- Ontime). It was a good after a good nap in the previous flight it was time to feast on the food provided onboard. Again the flight took off late and I arrived at Bagdogra at 1:40PM. I again rushed out as I had to catch a chopper to fly to Gangtok. I checked in STC (Sikkim Tourism Corporation). When I was about to board the chopper the pilot invited me saying -Welcome aboard for your Private chopper (Yes, I was the only passenger onboard). I started off at 2:05PM..

The chopper took off and man-o-man it was fun and at the same time damn scary. It was announced while taking off that the chopper would fly at an altitude of 5000 feet, but that was only at the beginning. Man once I entered the valley the altitude rose to nothing less than 20000 feet. I was damn scared with wind blowing at good speed, and the chopper making its way in the wind displacing itself some times of the course scarring the ---- out of me. I enjoyed the short flight which was not more than 35 mins with the abundance of the Himalayan beauty. I landed at Gangtok and I had my family members waiting for my arrival. I wish I had an over coat, it would have been fun while getting down(as they show in movies-ex Face-Off) with the coat overflowing and me getting down man I would have loved it, but its ok I will do that the next time I fly by a chopper. I met my family and went home, had a nice lunch (Veg -for my disappointment) and then got to play cards.

Did nothing for the rest of the day, other than playing cards and eating and planning for the next day.
